Your body and the three stages of pregnancy.

There are three stages of pregnancy: the first, second and third trimesters. Each is 12 weeks long and we will help you determine what to expect.

The first trimester is begins your three stages of pregnancy. During this trimester, which is from zero to 12 weeks, you may or may not experience some symptoms of pregnancy. Breasts will enlarge and become tender, and the areolas may darken. You may become more tired than usual, and the best thing to remember is that fatigue in the first trimester is normal, will decrease in the other trimesters, and the best thing to do is to get more rest. Drink plenty of water, and eat fruits and vegetables, because greasy, fatty foods will exacerbate the nausea and vomiting you may experience. Also during this trimester, it is common to experience leg cramps, dizziness, frequent urination, and increased heart rate.

The second of the stages of pregnancy, the second trimester, you will experience new Signs Of Pregnancy and it is commonly the most enjoyable. During these 13 to 28 weeks, appetite will increase because of the energy and nutrients the growing baby needs. Your belly will begin to grow, and the skin may change; it can start to show stretch mark and my become itchy. Due to the added weight of your baby, your lower back may be sore. Heartburn, indigestion and constipation, also in the first trimester, may continue.

The third of the stages or pregnancy, the third trimester, is quite exciting as it is one step closer to holding your baby in your arms. During this trimester, increased temperature, hair growth on arms and legs, urination may occur. A woman in these stages of pregnancy may experience decreased libido. Also, Braxton-Hick contractions, otherwise known as false labor, could happen. It is all normal, but consult your doctor with any concerns.
